Oswald Road Primary School was extended and redeveloped to allow the school to increase its intake. The new building includes 11 new classrooms, multi-use hall, catering facilities and office accommodation. The existing building has been refurbished throughout providing new lighting, power and data, water services and boiler plant, all of which will improve the schools energy performance.
The school utilises natural ventilation using a combination of opening windows and wind catchers. The new building achieved a ‘B’ rated EPC and a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.
