This scheme saw the extension and remodelling of the existing Edge Lane Retail Park to create 1 million ft of retail and entertainment space located on the gateway road to Liverpool.
The shopping and leisure development, occupying three quarters of a mile of frontage onto Edge Lane provides parking for 1500 cars and comprises of 41 retail units including Outfit, B&Q and TK Maxx.
The development consisted of 5 HV sub-stations to be moved, a new 32MV ring main to 7 new sub-stations and the transfer from Scottish Power to an Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs). The site now has a total supply of 8MVA.
All units on the site were designed to achieve an EPC rating of A.
